6 & Under – Junior Tennis Week Skills Competition
It’s that time of year again—our annual Junior Tennis Week is upon us! The event will kick off on Monday, July 21st, and continue throughout the week, with finals for the older age groups scheduled for Thursday or Friday, depending on the weather.
Please note: No guests are permitted to participate in Junior Tennis Week. However, regular lessons will still be running on the Sport Court throughout the week for those who do not wish to participate in the tournament, as well as for guests visiting during that time.
Our 6 & Under players will take part in a fun and engaging skills competition as part of Junior Tennis Week. The focus of this event is to showcase the skills they have learned so far this summer — and to have a great time on the court!
The skills competition will take place on the Sport Court at the following times:
We’ll make sure all players are back from canoeing in time for their start.
All players entering the tournament must be available each day of the week and report to the courts during their assigned time block, dressed in tennis attire. Players must have a tennis racket and appropriate tennis shoes to participate.
Registration deadline is Sunday, July 20th at 4:00 PM. Our Tennis Pros need time to complete the draw, so anyone not registered by 4:00 PM on July 20th will not be eligible to participate in Junior Tennis Week.
When registering on Wild Apricot, please make sure to register under your child’s name and not your own. If needed, there is an option to edit the registration—please take a moment to do so, as it is your child participating in the competition.
If you have any questions, please email me directly at: Mattie.R.Haynes@gmail.com
The Winner and Runner-Up of the 6 & Under Skills Competition, along with the winners of the other age groups, will be announced on Regatta Evening starting at 6:30 PM.
We’re looking forward to a great week of tennis, fun, and friendly competition!
