It’s that time of year again—the Black Point Campout is here! Join us for a night of fun, adventure, and classic campout memories.
Please note: Your child(ren) must be 11 years or older to attend. We will be taking 6 girls and 6 boys, so spots are limited!
Registration is now open—be sure to sign up and save your spot!
We will meet at the Club at 6:00 PM to begin loading equipment and campers into the boats before heading to Black Point. Please make sure your child eats dinner beforehand, as dinner will not be provided. A small breakfast will be served in the morning, and we’ll return to the Club for pickup around 7:00–7:30 AM.
Once you have signed up, please email me directly at Mattie.R.Haynes@gmail.com with your contact information (so I can reach you directly if needed while we are on Black Point) and any allergies your child has. If your child carries an Epi-Pen, please let me know and ensure they bring it with them for the campout.
Packing List: ✔️ Sleeping bag (required) ✔️ Sleeping mat or foam pad (optional but recommended) ✔️ Pillow (optional) ✔️ Water bottle ✔️ Flashlight or headlamp (with extra batteries) ✔️ Snacks that are easy to seal up ✔️ Bathing suit ✔️ Towel ✔️ Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended) ✔️ Extra set of clothes for the next day ✔️ Pajamas or comfortable sleeping clothes ✔️ Sneakers or closed-toe shoes ✔️ Rain jacket or windbreaker ✔️ Hat and sunscreen ✔️ Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, deodorant)
Tents will be provided by the Club.
